August 2017: 33rd Congress of the International Union of Game Biologists
The 33rd IUGB Congress will take place in Montpellier, France, during 22-25 August 2017, with a theme of “Wildlife under Human influence – What can we do?”.
Organised by ONCFS, the IUGB 2017 Congress will present work at the cutting edge of science tackling topics related to agriculture, forestry, hunting, tourism, urbanization, economic development, ecosystem evolutions, climate change, and their relationships with wildlife, and it is expected that there will be some exciting duck talks as well as a field trip to the Camargue.
In conjunction with the Waterbird Harvest SG, the DSG will organise a session and roundtable discussion on waterbird harvest monitoring.

April 2018: 5th Pan-European Duck Symposium
The 5th Pan-European Duck Symposium will take place in Scotland on 16-20 April 2018. The venue will be the Field Studies Centre in Millport, on the Isle of Great Cumbrae, in the Firth of Clyde. For further details please visit the conference webpage.
