5th Pan-European Duck Symposium
16th-20th April 2018
Isle of Great Cumbrae, Scotland
The Pan-European Duck Symposium takes place in different places in Europe every three years. This conference attracts a wide variety of duck biologists, conservationists and wildfowl managers from all over Europe and further afield.
We warmly invite you to the 5th Pan-European Duck Symposium to be held at the Field Studies Centre at Millport, on the Isle of Great Cumbrae in Scotland on the 16th-20th April 2018. Great Cumbrae is a small, but accessible, island in the Firth of Clyde, on the west coast of Scotland. The venue can be reached directly by public transport from Glasgow International Airport.
We are planning to have three full conference days and one day for a field excursion. The first call for abstracts is now open – please submit your abstracts by the 15th September 2017!
We will do our best to make the conference fees affordable and inclusive. Further details on this will be available in due course – check this website for updates and register for news when registration becomes open in August.
The Organising Committee comprises Chris Waltho, Richard Hearn, Colin Galbraith and Matthieu Guillemain. The Scientific Programme Committee is chaired by Prof. Colin Galbraith. If you have specific enquiries at this stage, please contact the chair of the Organising Committee, Chris Waltho.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Millport!
